This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. I was completely disappointed. I have never seen a hotel that dirty, run-down, dilapidated, and smelly. Extremely irate over the money I paid for this

Absolutely Atrocious.

Pros: The outside was well maintained.
Cons: Plumbing, customer service, comfort, cleanliness and human resources.
Location: The lakes, farms, fast-food restaurants and gas stations
I have stayed in Hostels in 3rd world countries better than this hotel. Bathroom sink leaked onto feet when running, shower curtain literally had something growing on it, comforters still had food stains from previous guests and customer service was rude, uncompromising and flat out mean, furthermore, one employee likes to tell customers that there is ghosts in the hotel and in your rooms? I am so easy-going & for me to even write a review takes effort that I normally don't care that much about but this was one of the worst experiences I have every had in an overnight stay and I have had plenty. DO NOT STAY HERE; Pay the additional cost to stay somewhere sustainable.

The worst hotel I have been in 30 years

Not a connected room as reservation required. Bad Ac dirty rooms missing tv remotes. Missing wash rags towels. Hall way extremely hot. Had to hold door handle at a certain angle to get key to work. Bathroom door would not lock unless you pull up any to side.

Not bad for the money

Microtel doesn't profess to be anything more than a budget hotel chain. You get what you pay for. Usually the rooms are clean and the bed is okay. Granted there isn't a lot of space but when I stay at one of their properties all I want is a good night's sleep. If I want all the other amenities I'll stay at another chain. This hotel has a great location just off I-20 and right behind a Zaxby's.

Squeezed into a shoe box

Room was too small. I will not stay in Microtel again unless they offer larger rooms. Other older budget motels have much more space than this chain.
