Dissatisfied

The Lodge is tired and in need of a major Renovation/upgrade. Our room was at minimum "ok". The occupants of the room above us had children jumping up and down, running back and forth both night and day. Despite 3 calls to the desk to complain the issue was never resolved over the period of our 3 night stay. I will never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone. At checkout, I related my experience and no apology was offered or adjustment. Very poor customer service/appreciation!

Nice and Friendly

Pros: comfortable bed and friendly helpful staff
Cons: Room lighting, it was very dark
Location: The hotel does not have a restaurant, However there were several nice places just down the road.
Overall the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the room was very dark. Even with all the lights on, it was dark. Otherwise I had a nice stay. I didn't see much beyond my room and the breakfast room. I came in late and left very early.

We have ordered and installed new lighting since your visit. The "soft-white" lights were not bright enough. We replaced these with a "day-light" light which is brighter.

Great place for a weekend getaway

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Great place to stay on lake oconee. The staff was friendly and helpful. The boat slip was great to have overnight. I would recommend this to be a place to stay for a last minute weekend getaway.
