The lady at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating. The room is clean and has refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was good . We’re satisfied with our over all stay.

The staff is awesome and the location is within walking distance to the gondola or 5 minute drive to California Lodge at Heavenly. Price is cheap compared to others for location and full breakfast bar, not a limited continental! We came back after staying there last year and will be back. They are also quick to remove snow so your not stranded in the morning and believe me it will DUMP in Feb.

Could have been okay, except for the spiders...

Overall, stay was decent for the price, but it had a few faults that brought my rating down to a 2. Pros: staff was nice, check in was easy; we got the room with the jet tub, which we used for storage space for our wet skiing gear; walking distance to a downtown-ish area with stores and restaurants as well as a casino. Cons: old school tv with the picture on one side messed up; small bathroom (no countertop space); loud heater, kind of “run down”; and the spiders! We saw 1 in the kitchen area and two more in the sleeping area. We didn’t see more after the first couple of hours there (we were there for just the night), but alway “felt” like they were on us ever since we saw the first few. Overall, not the best, and I probably won’t go back. However, I would suggest it to others if they can handle the cons and prefer a cheaper place to stay.

As you might have noticed we are in the middle of renovations , on our to do list is to replace the televisions in the suites with flat screens. and mount them to the wall . In regards to the the spiders I would like to offer our apologies, is not acceptable and I completely understand you not wanting to come back but I would like to ask for a second chance so we can prove that our goal is to provide a clean,comfortable and safe lodging experience.

Takes you back in time

I love how you get to use a real key to unlock the door. Room services is not avilable if you need anything you must come to the front desk wasn't pleased by that.

Mediocre

This is one of those hotels where you get what you paid for. We stayed for two nights. The receptionist is not welcoming. The room looks decent. The bed and bathroom is clean. The room has the most basic amenities: tv, microwave, and coffee maker. The room that we stayed didn't have a mini bar (although it looks like it should because there's room for it inside the cabinet). They didn't change the towels after they cleaned up the room. We're not really fussy travelers when it comes to accommodation. As long as the room looks decent enough to sleep then we're okay with it. So overall, mostly because of the price, I'll give it 2.5 stars.

Over-priced dump

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: about a mile walk to everything
This place was a dump, extremely over-priced, not clean, towels & tissues were not stocked & staff were offended when I asked for more. NO A/C, it was under roof construction & a mess.
