This is a terrible place to stay. I believe the residents that stay there take turns manning the office. You always have to use a phone outside the door to get help. I had to call the police while staying there for domestic violence on the next door neighbor. The location was great but the motel quality seemed like I was in the worst part of town. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve seen a lot of the recent (5 ish months ago) reviews saying this place is disgusting, smells bad, has spiders and roaches and all I have to say was when my family and I stayed there this weekend it wasn’t even half bad. The place is run down on the outside and the showers are small, but besides that all of our 3 rooms were tidy, clean and smelled clean as well. The only downside was the staff is NEVER in the office and you have to wait until they come around. I made a comment about it to them and all he said was “gotta wash the laundry” so maybe they need some more help over there but I understood. Definitely a good stay for the price!

A dump

Pros: The front yard with a gazebo was pretty.
Cons: The rooms need to be gutted & remodeled
Location: South Lake Tahoe is beautiful with a variety of recreational & dining opportunities.
This hotel is awful. The bedspread was dirty & stained, no blankets on the bed or in the room. This was supposed to be an upgraded room that had a heart shaped oversized bathtub right next to the bed that was difficult to walk between it & the rest of the room. I was uncomfortable with a back door & a front door. Because this property is very old, it needs a large amount of upgrades to bring it up to minimum standards. The breakfast room is very small, & very ill prepared. We would not eat there. We left. The manager was friendly, but was constantly distracted by his preschool daughter & a crying baby in another room. The only reason we stayed here was because there were no other rooms available in our price range in town & we only stayed one night.

The room was clean and in good repair, to small

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Repairs to the outside better parking. It could be very nice if they would just clean up around the hotel.
Location: It is in South Lake Tahoe. There is a lot to do.
We were disappointed in the hotel as a whole. The outside was in disrepair. Sidewalks needed repair. The room was OK but the bath room was just two small.

Mostly OK

The room was clean,beds were decent,2 doors to enter (front & back).The bathroom was small but clean.The electricity on room 218 was a sharing with downstairs & twice it went off but staff tried a quick solution (extension cord from AC outlet to tv & lamp).Didn't tried complementary breakfast because it was served too early 7am & next door guests were a little noisy during night.Phone in room not working.No fridge or microwave on our room as promised.Good location CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!!.Not too bad for price paid.
