Not nice

The front door key barely open the door and the carpets was dirty. The the wall behind the front door plaster cross the wall was showing unfinished work, the bath tub mirror had residue on half of it.and the bathroom it self was old and out dated The drawe by the bed Handel was broken room they need to up date the room and the front office close up at 8or9 o’clock so no body their to help you if you need them

Great location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
It's a little noisy but that to be expected when you're right next to the highway. Great location, comfy bed and a hot shower. What's not to like?

Great service, clean, and fantastic price

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I was skeptical when I initially made my reservation at the Tahoe Inn, but it turned to be a very experience. The staff was friendly, despite maintenance going on at the time it was clean and orderly. It was quiet for the three days I was there and I absolutely would stay there again.. Thanks for the service.

Good value for the money, great location.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Right in the heart of Tahoe City, great location and good value for the money. The rooms were big and very clean. Breakfast was included, but one day they didn't have the staff or food to put out. Since we were off to go skiing we were not going to wait hours to see if any food showed up. The staff was very nice and friendly, but they seemed short on employees.

would never stay here again

Cons: No free Internet
V ery cheap motel feel for a high price. Rooms are out dated, in need of repairs, carpet gross and bad views. Would never stay there ever again.

Very Cheesy but Nice Stay

Cons: No free Internet, Noisy
My husband and I were able to have the front office hold our bags until we could check into our room after a day on the slopes, so that was nice. We had a room with a fireplace and Jacuzzi heart shapped tub that we were looking forward to especially since it started snowing towards the end of the afternoon. We took full advantage of everything, and enjoyed it all. The only unfortunate thing was that after we had a bath, the shower spout wasn't working. We didn't discover this until after the bath, so we had to drain the bath and use the bath spout to wash ourselves. We let management know, and they soon were in our room on the phone with a plumber who walked them through turning the water back on (apparently they had him in earlier and he had fogotten to do that). So other than that, and apparently some loud people outside that kept my husband up (but not me), we had a nice stay. It was very cheesy with the fake fireplace and heart shapped jauzzi tub, but we enjoyed ourselves for the most part. Also a fridge in the room was nice.

If there's snow, you will be awake all night.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet, Noisy, no breakfast
This may be a nice hotel in the summer, or when there isn't any immediate snowfall. However, if there is fresh snow on the ground the night you stay there, prepare to be up all night. At about 1:00 am the plows started clearing the parking lot behind the hotel. They would back up every 30 seconds or so, and make a horrible, unbelievably loud, beeping. There were several plows, which took turns backing up until 6:00 that morning. I would definitely never stay in this hotel again, if for no other reason than the totally unsympathetic attitude of the staff the next morning.

Right in Downtown of Tahoe City

Fair Motel for the money. It is right in Downtown of Tahoe City , close to all the restaurants and shopping. The receptionist was very friendly.

Clean & a great location. They forgot about the breakfast

Hotel was clean and in a great location. No remotes in the room for the TV's. On Monday the hotel "forgot" about the breakfast that was to be provided. The staff was nice, but since it was a holiday they must have been short staffed and unable to put out the breakfast.

Great Choice! Very Comfortable and Great Value

Tahoe City Inn is very reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and the staff is great- friendly and helpful. Also couldn't be located in a more convenient location. Its super easy to get around. All in all, a great choice for a stay in Tahoe.
