Kim at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my room reservation. All of the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was newly renovated and VERY clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets felt so soft. It was a good stay.

Overall poor....Would find better comfort sleeping in my car...fixtures broken and water pressure in bathroom low. Terrible

The whole property might have been fine in 1975 but in 2019 it shows its age and the lack of up keep shows just get a vibe that it now used bang place for prostitution and drug use the guy trying to remodel but I don’t think it really going to help

accessible to legoland and all kinds af stores and food

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I have stayed at a lot of hotels in florida going to parks with my kids and even though this one is not the best one I have stayed in they were polite and room was clean and price was great. they offered to change sheets every day but like most people I do not change my sheets everyday at home. overall I was pleased and will be staying there again.

Bates Motel

Cons: unsafe, dated, no properly working a/c
I checked in, viewed my room and checked right back out in 20 minutes. This motel (not an Inn, Suite or Hotel) has not yet left the 80's, the decor was dated as well as the security. The lobby had no central air and the drink/snack fridges were broken and replaced with a regular kitchen fridge. The room, which I was told was a suite, had a large turn style slatted pane window, a broken window a/c unit, a ceiling fan that did not move very fast and the beds were barely made and falling apart. The door to the room had 2 deadbolt locks and a chain which looked a little weathered. The clerk that checked me in put me in a room next to 3 very young men who were drinking and as I entered the room tried to approach me to party with them. As I checked out as I did not feel safe, the clerk stated she stays there 24/7 and she feels very safe then offerered to place me in another room on the second floor which was not an option with a sprained ankle and no elevator on the property. This motel is not safe for single women staying alone and I do not think I would even bring children to stay here.

A good night

Pros: Free Internet
Great place to stay in Winter Haven: This motel puts the chains to shame. We were treated like family and the room was as clean as we have ever seen. The owners and help were very courteous and helpful. Hospitality will bring us back again. Thanks again

This place is scary

I will never stay here again. I would rather sleep in my car. This place is filthy, disgusting, just simply scary. The front desk guy was very scary. He approached us as if we had disturbed him. He had a shirt with a huge hole in the front. In the middle of our transaction the manager had called & was yelling at the desk clerk over the phone. The clerk hung up & began bad mouthing the manager & the business to us. The web shows a price, the sign shows another & the guy told us another! The key did not work for the door, so he switched us to another room. Then the second room did not have any towels. He switched us to another room because he was unable to find the housekeeper to give us towels & linens. The remote did not work for the tv, the phone did not work, the room was stinky & dirty. The bathroom window was broken, the furniture was old & worn out. We had to throw the comforter over the window because the blinds were broken. The refrigerator had mold in it. The next morning i was awaken by the housekeeper screaming at someone, so i then went to the front desk to ask about the WI-FI (Which did not work either) & the owner or manager was there yelling at the clerk & a few other people. When i asked about the WI-FI the person told me that it was not part of room & that along with the phone, was a courtesy of the motel. The next night i stayed at another motel just a door down & they told me that it was all a very common thing with the Ranch House.
