It was close to MSU and lots of restaurants in area. Loved using pool and hot tub.

I liked the location and convenience to the things in the area. If I was traveling for work and needed to stay a week somewhere - this would be perfect due to the kitchenette and set up. However, this was a weekend with a 2yo. Couch was a pull out (nice) - extra bedding in closet had many dark hairs all over everything (not cool) as did the main bed and towels. I'm a long haired female who sheds but this was crazy. I almost didn't even stay one night as a result, but did stay the weekend. Pool was fine - although might need a little care (found a pointy screw on the ground near the shower and the peeling paint where the kids kept holding - not a big deal if you're watching your kids - as they like to hold and put their mouths on everything. You pay extra for breakfast - and the 1st day all the hot stuff was 'unavailable' so just cold stuff (e.g. cereal, muffins, fruit) 2nd night - not everything, but some hot stuff. Initial check in was fine, gentleman was friendly. I checked in after 6pm Fri night - noticed sign in bathroom area that you need to request services for the weekend (even light service) and to let them know 'between 0-0500' - so I let them know Sat between the time requested, but apparently I should have let them know the day before - which would've been before I checked in. IMO - the check in clerk should've said something to me about that - all I really wanted was towels and trash changed - didn't care about making beds and all that.
