Loved the atmosphere and rooms were not bad. They do not hold back on the room coffee, cream, and sugars

We stayed 1 night before flying out of Las Vegas. It is a nice hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and had all the basic amenities except for a refrigerator (which agrees with the room description). Some plumbing fixtures were dated and didn't work perfectly, but this didn't affect us.

Wonderful place for a quick get away . Not far from town in miles . But it felt like a million miles away!

Expectations

Pros: We did enjoy the horse rides the next dat, and the restaurant and zoo was exactly what we expected for a small ghost town.
Cons: Make the rooms all western theme, clean the furniture, upgrade hot water heaters, and improve wifi. Create a cozier atmosphere in western theme
Location: This is secluded, but it's the whole idea. There is horse riding, bicycling, outdoor activities. 30 minutes at most to town.
We chose this location as a get away, and our expectations were higher based on advertising. The rooms were very old fashioned, but not in a modern way. The kitchen was up to date, and clean, but the bathroom was really small, and there was only 5 minutes of hot water. We were a family of 4, and only 1 person took a hot shower. The wifi did not work, we connected 1 time, and lost signal immediately. The couch was very itchy, and uncomfortable (foul smell). There were no extra amenities like most hotels, no blow dryer, no iron, no extra blankets for the hide away. We expected western, but felt more like we were in a 70's hotel. It was more worth $89 a night instead of $140. There was not enough parking, and the when you enter the hotel at night, it looks deserted. No lights on. We did enjoy the horse rides the next dat, and the restaurant and zoo was exactly what we expected for a small ghost town. I wouldn't stay at the hotel again, but I would visit the ranch for the seclusion and atmosphere during the day.

I am sincerely sorry that you had such a bad experience staying with us! I just want to let you know that we have addressed the situations presented here and remedied most of them.. Unfortunatley due to location the internet is just very slow and it is also very fragile, even the slightest wind seems to knock it out.. We due provide a blow dryer and iron and ironing board upon request at the office and i've since made sure all the family suites have an extra blanket and a few extra pillows in the closet. I've also had our plumber take a look at the hot water heaters and we've replaced two of them since your April stay.. Hopefully your past stay with us wont deter you from trying us out one more time! -Chris Motel Manager

Such a great Retreat from Las Vegas!

Pros: Beautiful landscape and views. Relaxing and welcoming.
Cons: The motel has some age to it - it's part of the charm. Although it's obvious that renovations have been made, there are more needed.
Location: Gorgeous location! Views of Red Rock abound! Lots of hiking, biking, and horse riding within a few minutes. "Old Nevada" provides lots of fun!
After staying in Vegas for a 4 day conference we couldn't wait to escape! We were so surprised by the absolutely stunning views only 30 minutes or so from the bright lights! Bonnie Springs Ranch is teaming with critters. The horse paddocks were in view of our front door, peacocks and bunnies roamed about peacefully. Saw wild burros in the area almost daily - even a foal which appeared to be about a month old! The restaurant and bar had a old ranch feel and we felt cozy and comfortable. Renovation activities are taking place, and the carpet in our room was quite tired. The food menu was somewhat limited, but we had 2 very good meals there. The "Old Nevada" experience (free for motel guests) had lots of activity and is clearly an attraction for many visitors over the weekend. Lots of families enjoying their day. It was nice to know the little zoo on property is a non-profit org. ALL the animals appeared well cared for and very healthy. You can ride a train or horse! Trail rides are available at a decent discount for guests. There are MANY popular hiking trails within 10 to 20 minutes of the ranch! We took lots of pictures of the scenery and felt this was a fun, relaxing place to visit if you're looking for a ranch type experience. Would be a great place to stay with children who love nature. You won't find spa water here, but you will get an old fashioned cut key on a key ring to get into your room and you'll feel like you've gone back to a much simpler time!

Don't advertise wifi if you can't supply it...

Location: Beautiful setting, Red Rocks nearby.
Hair that wasn't mine in the shower, torn rugs, sheets sprayed with Lysol, the room reeked of Lysol, and there was no wifi, and the front desk wouldn't do anything when I told them I couldn't connect. It sucked. I couldn't wait to get out, left at 730 the next morning.
