- Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Some of the staff were friendly and very helpful and truly listened to what the problem was.

On the Strip, Luxor Hotel and Casino is in Las Vegas's Las Vegas Strip neighborhood, an area with good airport proximity. The area's natural beauty can be seen at The Park and Ethel M Botanical Cactus Gardens, while Park Theater and Madame Tussauds Las Vegas are cultural highlights. High Roller and Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas are not to be missed. Our guests love the resort's convenience to public transportation: MGM Grand Monorail Station is 12 minutes by foot.
The hotel itself is very pretty and the Egyptian statues are massive. The elevators sway when going up & down. Our room was mediocre & looked like it hadnt been updated in some time. The bed & arm chair were very worn. There wasn't a mini fridge or microwave. The cleaning staff did a good job other than putting glasses in our room which were not clean. One still had lipstick on it. I had high expectations visiting Las Vegas for the first time. You would think with all the money the Luxor is making, that they would keep their rooms updated.
