Just a short walk uphill from the train station and near stops for public transportation--in fact, a transit pass for the local system was included with the hotel stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street, wonderful for people watching. One odd feature was the frosted glass walls of the bathroom, which meant that a light turned on in the bathroom during the night lit the entire sleeping room too. But overall, a great room and an accommodating staff who even loaned an umbrella on a rainy morning.

Nice modern hotel close the the train station.

Pros: Design and size of rooms.
Cons: Make sure you book a Garden View to avoid the noise.
Location: Great historic district and easy Metro ride to the waterfront
I liked everything about the hotel EXCEPT the room location. We started with a beautiful room with two balconies on the main road with a lake view. Unfortunately it's "Party Central" and there were people yelling under our balcony from 12 am to 6am. I upgraded to a Garden Room and it was a huge improvement.
