The Eastside of Kaua’i features the historic charm, boutiques, and restaurants of Old Town Kapa’a as well as hiking/kayaking adventures, Fern Grotto boat cruises and botanical gardens along the Wailua River. All your favorite island activities are in reach! The spacious living room, dining area and adjacent oceanfront lanai offer plenty of room to lounge and relax after a fun day of activities. Enjoy the expansive ocean view, spectacular sun/moon rises, brilliant sunset colors, dolphin spotting and winter whale watching! The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to feel at home and have your island favorites on hand.

The primary suite features a queen-size bed, garden view, smart TV to stream your favorites, and ensuite full bath with walk-in shower.
The garden-view second bedroom is outfitted with two twin-size beds which can be configured as a king if requested prior to arrival.
The second full bath includes a shower/tub combo.
With the use of a queen size inflatable bed, the condo can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Kaha Lani enjoys consistent ocean trade winds and is designed to capture and draw them through the home beautifully. For this reason, air conditioning units (which can be intrusively noisy) are not permitted at Kaha Lani. Our unit #123 has ceiling fans throughout and two portable fans are provided "just in case" as well.

Review
There was no A/C. Also, there were no curtains or window blinds in the entire condo. People walking by could see everything you were doing in the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were small, so you have to leave your suitcases in the living room where everybody could see them because there were no blinds or curtains. When I contacted the property manger, she wasn't sure what she could do about no A/C, no blinds and no curtains. We had a washcloth, hand towel and bath towel for each of us. One of the washcloths had makeup on it even after washing it in the washer. I had to use a hand towel for a washcloth. I texted the property manager and it took her over 24 hours to reply back there was an extra washcloth in one of the closets.

Preferred the feel before the new renovation but now clean and bright. Great location for a family beach holiday and central for exploring the island.

Aged beach front condo that are just fine
The property seems very aged and barely maintained. It is nice to have a kitchen but for the price of over $800/night I could have chose to stay at a five star establishment in Oahu. Property managers responded but they didnt check with me if it was fine to charge me $350 extra for a late checkout request. Condo was so small and we were cramped for room, it was also very noisy as we could hear other guests stomping upstairs as well as the roosters that are all over the property. There is a beach trail but just less than a mile away there is a campsite that looked extremely sketchy and unsafe. Beach was not at all maintained and had full of dead branches and debris. Beach front view was nice but nothing special to write home about.

False Expectations
This property is in a great location for exploring the island and viewing sunrises. The grounds on the property were very well kept. The rental itself was disappointing. It was old and dated. It needed more than a regular clean. It needed a deep in every room. All of the appliances need to be replaced. Most concerning was a smoke detector that kept going off (while no cooking was being done) and we were texted to disconnect it. We were expecting someone to come and fix it, apparently it wasn't a priority for them. This property has lots of potential, but didn't meet our expectations.

Nice Place, Dirty Room
The location, the view and the vibe of the place were great. The room unfortunately, was dirty when we got there. A used wash cloth was hanging in the spare shower, the stove had not been cleaned off and the floor was really dirty. The key lockbox that held the door key was corroded and very difficult to get into and the door lock was cantankerous. The shower curtain in the main bedroom was still too short. The floor gets flooded when you take a shower. It seems to me the owner would want that fixed immediately. The kitchen is extremely outdated but functional. I realize the pandemic has been difficult but at the same time, the room prices are expensive. The sunrise is beautiful and all the employees very nice. Peace Out.

Great location and beach
This was a great location and beach. There is no air conditioning, just fans, but the constant breezes off the ocean make it comfortable at night in July and tolerable by day, not that you will be inside much during the day. The best picnic table in the world is just east of the sea grape, and the chickens act as a great alarm clock for the spectacular sunrises.

Amazing Views!
Perfect for our family! Great location, good layout, close to food, shopping, etc. The views can't be beat. The condo was well-stocked, clean, and cozy. The only issue we had was that the shower in the master bedroom leaked onto the bathroom floor. Overall, our stay was lovely. I would definitely recommend this property. We will be back:)

Overall this was a wonderful property. The best feature of all was the incredible view! Took a few stars off for the accuracy of the online listing because when we booked it stated the 2nd bedroom had two twins, however shortly before our trip we were notified it was changed to one queen. But unit was very well appointed and had everything we need for a great stay. Very convenient location as not to far from airport, but also close to great beaches and amenities. There were beach chairs, towels, and even a wagon to haul stuff to the beach which was greatly appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked, only missing a few things here and there. Beds were comfy, pillows needed a little help, but there were extra in the front cabinet. No AC, but always had a nice ocean breeze. Didn’t have a chance to use the pool, didn’t need to with the beach right in front of you. Overall would definitely recommend and for sure come back.
