Love this Hotel! It was in a beautiful, classic Lisbon-style building. It’s a former palace, owned by a famous architect in Lisbon and one of the few buildings to remain standing after the 1755 earthquake. The room I received for my upgrade was absolutely amazing. The decor and layout, and every detail was very well thought out for its guests. Everything was top quality. After we were upgraded, because it was my one year anniversary, we were sent a bottle of wine and cookies and strawberries which was very thoughtful, and appreciated. Our room was on the first floor facing a main street so it was quite noisy at night since it was a Friday and there was lots of partying going around in the neighborhood. Obviously not the hotels fault but just wanted to point that out in case you sleep early like us, so you may want to book a room on a higher floor or towards the back. I didn’t eat at the restaurant on the property, Federico, but looks like a beautiful place to dine, and you may need Reservations to eat there. I am definitely staying at Palacio Ludovice for my next trip in Lisboa, which I hope is very soon!
