It was a good stay
I ended up needing to get a room due to a snow storm and stayed for the night. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is located near several local restaurants which gave several options for dinner. Due to the snow, some locals were out doing donuts in the nearby parking lots, but that seemed like some abnormal noise. The room was clean, a bulb or two were burned out, and the bed sagged, but was comfortable. The room was quiet, and I couldn't hear any neighboring rooms making much noise, which was great at night. It's a good stay, close to the highway, and easy to find. I'll definitely stay again.

The bathroom was dirty (moldy dirty shower), bathroom floor was very dirty. Top Cover looked like it wasn’t clean so I took it off and got clean sheets from the check in desk. The non carpeted areas needed to be mopped

Your Assistant Manager, Marie Tomblin is amazing. Very welcoming and cheerful. We had signed up for our room to be serviced daily, only to come back and find a note under our door stating that the bolt was locked, which was untrue. I took the note to Ms. Tomblin and she apologized, came to our room and gathered trash and brought clean towels. Later in the evening, I spilled on the bathroom floor, grabbed a washcloth to clean up and it came up black. Apparently the bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped in a long time. There was a card in our room stating that Kansas was the person who cleaned our room before check in. Our bed was clean and comfortable and the rest of the room appeared clean, other than my socks getting dirty from the carpet and floors. I’d like to suggest that the carpets be cleaned more frequently and the tile checked for cleanliness. The eating area appeared clean and the breakfast was good with decent choices. Staff we encountered were friendly. Again, kudos to your shining star, Marie Tomblin. Overall, our stay was a good one.

First and most important. NO POOL!! That should be on the website not on a small piece of paper taped to the front desk. That was my MAIN reason for choosing Holiday Inn. Didn't want room cleaned only wanted clean towels daily. Had to chase down housekeeping to get them each day. The people above us sounded like a stampede of horses. I'm assuming because of poor construction. Some noise is ok but this woke us up numerous times. Not being informed of the pool not working was my major complaint. My grandson was very upset as was I. All l got was an "I'm sorry" plus "there are no other rooms available in town". I heard that as you're stuck here even if we weren't honest about the pool. I voiced my displeasure about the pool. I feel l should have been offered some sort of compensation. I paid over $500 for these accommodations. I could have gotten the same thing for half that price somewhere else that told me they didn't have a pool. So l would not recommend or stay at this facility again. 😠
