The hotel is one street over from Queensway and Bayswater tube stations so getting around the city was easy. The same street has lots of dining options. Also not far from Paddington to catch a train. The hotel is on a quiet residential street. Breakfast was fabulous every day and the entire staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was fine, everything worked well. Loved the story behind the hotel. The hotel could use a bit of a refresh for the price. The only real negative was that wifi came without password protection and in this day and age that's so not acceptable.

This was a remarkable bargain for such an extraordinary area, and the hotel itself was beautiful. I wasn't expecting the grandeur and opulent vibe in the reception and lounge areas. The room (a basic double) was nothing super special but I was very pleased for the price. Having Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, Portobello Rd, and so many other things in walking distance was fantastic. Also easy transportation from LHR.

Staff were great. Breakfast is very good. Staff were very helpful when we ended up with expired money during out trip. Rooms are small but very nice. We have stayed there 3 times, ever since we discovered it. Location is wonderful. Close to underground.

This was a lovely hotel. The lobby and lounge looked like olde English architecture and detail. The breakfast was great. Our room was okay size for us. The hotel is located one block away from Hyde Park and a couple blocks away from the underground station, which was also a lively area. The hotel was clean and staff were great. We would definitely stay here again.
