Our room was on the first floor, directly down the hall from the front desk. There were two doors to get into the room and in the area between the two doors, there were what I assume to be maybe employee only storage rooms. Throughout the evening, we could hear staff members right outside our door talking and jingling their keys to open those doors. It was a little unsettling because it sounded like someone was trying to open our room door due to how close it was to us.
The hotel has no elevators/lifts so if you happen to be on a higher floor, you have to just lug everything up and down yourself. Even on the first floor, we had to go down a few steps and then back up a few steps just to get to the room, even with the room being the first room you see on the first floor.
The room itself was small. Just enough space for two people plus one luggage each. Coffee and tea were included on the desk. The bed was very uncomfortable in my opinion. I had such a hard time sleeping while we were staying there and over a week later after leaving, my back is still in a lot of pain. We felt that the sheets and blankets had a weird smell to them. Not like a laundry detergent smell but like someone else had slept in it before and it wasn't changed out. The Wi-Fi did not reach our room. We had to either sit at the door for Wi-Fi or just rely on our limited international data.
Convenient spot, as it is located near Kings X station and has lots of dining options around it.
