Beautiful Horseguards Hotel maintains traditional British subtlety in decor, cleanliness, service, food, and staff professionalism, all without introducing silly modern trends and vibes that undermine the authentic experience of guests looking to enjoy the culture of historical London. So this review isn't so much about the Horseguards itself as it was a fine hotel in the right location for what we needed. The staff was great. What I didn't like is prepaying on travelocity to get the low price and then get hit with $65 (50 british pounds) per night service fee. That drastically changed the price per night and I feel was underhanded by either travelocity or horseguards. The stay was fine, but the fine print got me here, others need be aware.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is located quite nicely within easy walking distance to many of the central London attractions. Additionally, the Underground is very nearby and you can get to anywhere you want rather quickly.

We are certainly within walking distance of many of the top London tourist attractions, such as Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Charing Cross, Leicester Square and many more but still in a serene spot away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.
