The lake and forests are open as of 9/17. Woohoo!
Come get away to this beautiful cabin in the trees! Spectacular views and space enough for two families. Ski, snowboard, fish, hike, swim, mountain bike, or simply relax. Enjoy your cup of coffee on the wrap-around deck and gaze across the valley. The humming birds may join you. At night, sip some wine while you check out the Milky Way and the millions of sparkling stars.
Just 10 minutes from Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort!
One large master suite upstairs with balcony view. Two bedrooms downstairs. Main Floor has living room, wood stove, Kitchen, and Bathroom. Large Deck with gas and charcoal grills.
Hate hauling things up flights of stairs? Just 2-3 steps from driveway to main floor of cabin.
**Internet & Wifi**
We FINALLY have wifi. But it's not perfect. Wifi is FAST, but intermittent, cutting out every 1-5 minutes for 5-20 seconds. Welcome to internet in the mountains! It's still pretty good though with speeds zooming around 200 Mbps. That means you CAN: Text over wifi, stream video (e.g. Netflix), stream music (Spotify), email, browse the internet. You CAN'T: Attend Zoom meetings, make phone-over-wifi calls (at least not reliably). A phone call over wifi might last 1-2 minutes before cutting out.
Need to attend a Zoom meeting over wifi? There are two good places for free wifi: Zoe Coffee House in Mi Wuk Village, open 8 am to 3 pm. https://www.zoecoffeehouse.com/ And the the Mi Wuk Wash & Dry laundromat https://goo.gl/maps/sVeLcgzfeLLnbuPJ7 open 6 am to 8 pm.
Cell service is limited. Verizon customers can sometimes get service.
Puzzles and board games abound. If you crave media, the upstairs nook has a flat screen TV with a selection of DVDs.
Bad back? The upstairs Master Suite has memory foam, which feels both firm and soft at the same time. Downstairs room with California King is a usual mattress, but guests with bad backs have had zero complaints.
