Eagle Creek Ranch is my special place. I fell in love with it on my first visit and I just knew it was for me.
I decided, after spending months pouring my heart into the property, the ranch house and the Saloon, that I wanted to share it with others. It’s a work in progress but already a comfortable place to call home. The wifi is good, there is parking for many, you can invite guests for dinner under the oak grove and play croquet, have a drink in the Saloon and you might even see the resident bobcat and fox wandering through every day. You're a 10 second walk from downtown Bell Street.
The Los Alamos area was originally a Chumash Indian Village and then became a stagecoach town in the late 1800's. It's a short drive to the rest of Santa Ynez Valley and everything it has to offer. It still boasts the last remaining railroad station that serviced the narrow gauge line during the early 1900’s (across the street from my ranch).
Whether you want to bike, hike, shop, or explore the many wine tasting and restaurant options available, you’ll always have something to do. Los Alamos, itself, is home to some of the best dining options in the entire Valley and the people are friendly and welcoming. It’s a small town (I have to get my mail at the post office every day), but not too far from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles (to the south) and San Luis Obispo and San Francisco (to the north). It is literally taking a step back in time.
