This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s an oasis of peace and quiet in a wild city :) I felt very safe and at home. And Pat makes the best breakfasts. :) would highly recommend if you’re staying in Long Beach.

NICE PRICE FOR THE AREA CLOSE TO DOWN TOWN

Pros: CLOSE TO DOWN TOWN
Cons: BED
Location: GREAT EATS BOAT RIDE QUEEN MARY FOR NEWS TEARS EVE
AFTER CHECKING ALL HOTELS IN THE AREA LAST MINUTE THIS HOTEL PRICE WAS HALF OF THE PRICE, SOME ROAD NOISE ANS THE BED WAS A LITTLE SOFT BUT OVER ALL GOOD STAY

Who does this?

Pros: Like being at home, only better. So clean it gleams. Nicely decorated rooms, not overly fussy. Good breakfast with lots of choices.
Cons: There is nothing that can be done about traffic noise, except for what they have done - provided ear plugs! I wasn't sure I'd sleep well, but I did.
Location: A couple of blocks from the beach and beautiful walkways. Nice walkable neighborhood with several good restaurants.
When your cabbie drops you off at what turns out to be the wrong address, you've never been to the city before, and you call your innkeeper in hopes she can get you oriented, who jumps in their car, immediately comes and gets you, and apologizes for your introduction to Long Beach? Courtney and Pat do. They are warm, wonderful and gracious hosts who have thought of everything. I'd come back to Long Beach just to see them and stay at The Beachrunner's Inn.
