Being awakened at 2:30 AM by someone endlessly knocking at our door was not especially appreciated. With no way to see who was outside, I didn’t open the door. Called the front desk and was told, “Sorry, she gave me the wrong room number.” So a stranger tells the front desk that guests in a certain room are expecting her, and rather than check the registry and ask the names of the guests, this stranger is allowed to go up and knock on any door that suits her. At 2:30 AM. Hardly what you would call attention to the security of your hotel guests.

We had several rooms for a family trip. Some rooms were updated & some were not. One room in particular reeked of cigarette smoke, the door to the room was not sealed properly& you could see the sunlight . In addition the sheets on the bed had holes. The hotel staff did spray febreeze & it helped a little. They were unable to give us a new room since they were sold out. They did discount the cost of the room. Overall the staff kind but not sure I would stay here again.

The property is retro and the suite we had was roomy and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. It is LA, so there were frequent helicopters and sirens and homeless on the streets.

We stayed in the round bed room. Very cool room. Needs new carpet desperately. Warning if you stay in this room, the window faces through a cafe sign and that is lit all night long. It’s looks like daylight peeking through the curtains. Crazy

It was easy peasy, staff were professional and they took safety seriously. My husband had surgery nearby and it the hotel was conveniently and close. Thank you

First of all from the pictures, this hotel does not look like a motel. It just looks like a dated hotel. This was disappointing that it was basically a motel. Second, we were robbed. I imagine it was the employees since I know they entered at least twice. They stole a wallet with cash, jewelry, hair clips, a set of keys and a tote bag from what we know so far. Third, there seemed to be bed bugs because my mom developed a really bad itch that disappeared soon after leaving the place. Fourth, when I complained and filed a police report for the theft, the manager showed very little sympathy for the incident. It wasn't until I asked for some compensation, when he offered to comp the room. I'm still waiting for that credit. All, in all a terrible stay and I will make sure all the travel sites know about this crap hotel/motel.
