The front desk staff at night is terrible and rude. When I checked in after a long and late. Rive with my cranky toddler I was greeted by an uppity and rude night desk guy. After he couldn’t manage to swipe my credit card for incidental charges he told me that this was my fault and I should figure out how to fix. Then walked into the back room. The machine had a chip reader.. unless I’m mistaken and it’s some kind of TBT to 2012. When I asked he told me that’s not how it works and I should just go get another card or leave. Thanks for a really awful check in Marriot. I am glad to see your staff is completely incapable of doing the 1 job they need to do- swipe credit cards. Perhaps next time look to hire staff with greater than a 3 or 4th grade education to man the desk.

Location was excellent - even with construction across the street. Close to everything. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Didn't eat in the restaurant (so many great options within walking distance) but the food looked good. There was an odd smell to the room. The hvac is on or off - no thermostat - so it can be difficult to control.

Up to Marriott's normal standards. Good location in Pasadena perhaps especially if you are attending a game at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Price reasonable for accommodations offered. Clean room and efficient, friendly staff.

Excellent location

Pros: Location and very helpful and friendly staff
Cons: The bathroom counter area and lighting could be improved.
Location: Walking distance to the many shops and restaurants in old town Pasadena was great. The area had an energetic vibe and was always busy with people.
This hotel was so convenient to everything in old town Pasadena. The rooms were large and very comfortable but the sink area of the bathroom was very small and not well lit for applying makeup. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
