Amazing Stay

Pros: Clean, comfortable, and beautiful rooms
Location: We went to Universal Studios - the staff helped us get tickets and gave us an overview of where to go and what to look for.
This hotel was elegant, comfortable,and the staff was gracious and accommodating.

Nice hotel, convenient to airport,

Cons: the valet service could be a little better organized.
The hotel staff are lovely -- helpful and pleasant. The building is handsome. The location on the water is very pleasant. Many rooms have water views, and there is dining water-side. The hotel is convenient to the airport and to Santa Monica. There are fun restaurants within walking distance on the path alongside the water.

Amazingly Fun!

had so much fun!  everything was CLEAN!!  not to mention all the cool stuff in the hotel..such as the steam room and workout area!  definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Amazing location, amazing staff.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff are amazing. Great location and great views.

A great weekend!

First time I'd ever stayed at a Ritz Carlton, so maybe my expectations were unrealistic because I was expecting perfection, but seriously? Who could ever deliver that. The hotel & grounds are BEAUTIFUL. My room had a wonderful little balcony that faced south, and I had a beautiful view of the Marina to my right, and to my left, the Hollywood Sign (it was that clear). It was great! There was a long black hair in the sink in the bathroom, and the bedding on the upper right hand corner looked to have something on it, I didn't know what. So those are the only two things that keep it from being 5 star all around. Recommend highly to get away from the hustle & bustle of downtown LA. Quiet, no traffic, very peaceful. First rate staff!!!!!

The only reason why I did not give the Ritz a 5 Star Review is because of the lack of HVAC maintenance in some rooms. Otherwise, it is very nice.

Pros: nice property
Cons: Nothing close, No free Internet, Poor breakfast, it can be noisy since the walls are thin.
There are areas of improvrement in room maintenance, and cuisine. Otherwise - a good place to stay for business, play, or rest.

Nice view and good service. Not up to the average Ritz Carlton standard though.

Pros: Quiet, beautiful view
Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast
Great location and has great view to the bay. Staff is very friendly and willing to meet our requests. However, as a Ritz, it is not up to par. The sheets are not exactly clean and some parts are very worn.

Excellent

It was a great overall experience. We ordered room service twice and the servers were very nice, the food was great. The bed was so comfortable we just wanted to stay in bed all day long. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. I would definitely go back.

Hotel personnel were very friendly & helpful.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
From our arrival to departure, the personnel were excellent representatives of this hotel. My sister & I felt welcomed and were treated to great service during our stay. We received tremendous service from everyone including top notch service from the cleaning staff to the lady at the exercise center who gave us a great tip where to have a good breakfast; to the thorough directions we received from the concierge; to the absolute friendly & smiling service from the restaurant staff. I have highly recommended this hotel & told everyone what a good experience we had in California at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey.
