It is old and a bit worn -- but my room was quite and clean and quiet. The location for a quick LA trip was fantastic: central to Pasadena, downtown LA, Dodger Stadium, etc. The personnel are always friendly and accommodating.

Smelled of perfume, as if trying to cover up smells, caulking in bathroom looked like it was done by kindergarten dropout, bathroom floor was slippery, as if not cleaned after the previous ‘resident’, paint peeling, rust in corners of tub, rust on closet pole to hang clothes, no hangers in closet, general condition of place indicated zero effort to make the place presentable

Quaint

I read the reviews and freaked out! I called and talked to management and he assured me that the reviews were written while under previous ownership. A great price - I gave it a try. The family owned business was very eager to make my stay pleasant and checked in to make sure that I was comfortable. It is a very basic, no thrills motel, but it was very clean, the bed was cozy and I had a oeaceful 2 nights' rest. Give this place a try.

I have stayed on and off for years. The male front desk is so unfriendly it hurts. After quoting me $100 for a room I went online and paid $65. He seemed totally annoyed while it took him five minutes to check in even though room is paid in Ada Vance. When he gives me they key he says 210. And ask him where is the e room. He responds second floor. No I mean what part of the hotel so I don’t park at opposite end and have to carry my bags. He says it’s on the second floor. So I say thanks sarcastically and walk. He asks what is wrong? My whole experience with front desk clerk was that he was extremely annoyed with my presence from the very start. Treated me with distrust / and seemed like he really really really did not appreciate my business. Luke warm water in the showers. Hotel is fine- front desk is fantastic at a horrible experience.
