trip to louisville

Pros: nice and clean. reasonable price and the restaurant. room very clean.
Location: 4th street has plenty of activites and nightlife.
had a nice stay in Louisville at the Hilton garen inn just off 4th and Jefferson in downtown Louisville. nice accomodations and a super bary and eatery at the top of the hotel called 8 up!! enjoyed our stay

Great hotel! Great location in downtown!

Pros: Great staff, great restaurant, great location!
Cons: The thermostat in my room kept turning off for no reason. Other than that, nothing!
I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. My experience was great from the beginning. The hotel shuttle picked me up from the airport promptly. The driver was extremely nice and told me a lot of great information about Louisville. The hotel staff was very friendly and informative. The restaurant on the top floor was a little over priced, but extremely delicious. The hotel was conveniently located downtown and was only a 15-20 minute walk to the conference location. There are several other restaurants within walking distance, so there's almost no need for a cab! The only issue I had was that the free shuttle service didn't start until 6 a.m., so I wasn't able to utilize it for my early flight. A hotel I stayed at in San Francisco had a similar problem, only they would call a cab for you and pay for it as long as you scheduled it in advance. This hotel might want to think about adopting a similar policy. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will stay here again if given another opportunity to visit Louisville!
