The location is perfect, just off Gran Via. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, the lobby and public areas also. The rooms of the hotel are dated, and look like something from the cold-war. At this price point ($150 (average)), one would expect a little more. The rooms were dark, dingy, fridge didn't work, sparse, and a tiny sad TV hanging on the wall. Although the rooms were very clean. Also, the room that I stayed in backed up to a restaurant (?)/store, because at 3am each night they decided to start moving furniture/items. When mentioned to the front desk, they apologized and said they didn't know what it was. Also, my room was next to the fire-exit, which I am assuming staff would pop out to have a smoke, as this door would bang closed through out the evening/night also. No effort to rectify the issue.

Perfect central location in Madrid. Clean.

Pros: Location and cleanliness. Excellent value for the price.
Cons: Have the fridge work year-round. have coffee machine/service in the room or in the hotel lobby.
Location: The hotel is located on Grand Via, close to best of shopping, and within walking distance to all plazas and tourist attractions.
The hotel's greatest advantage is its location, close to Grand Via. We were able to walk practically everywhere a tourist might want to walk in Madrid. The hotel is clean, simple furnishing. The staff was very helpful with directions, and making arrangements for tickets and transportation. The only oddity is that the refrigirator did not work. We were told that once the hotel turned-on central heating (we were there in November), the fridge no longer works.

Nice hotel close to attractions and shopping.

Hotel is close to everything except parking could be a problem. Staff are helpful. One of the subway line(I forgot which) to the hotel from airport terminated before the stops for the hotel due to renovation until end of September. Free connection bus was not right outside the subway station but was at least a mile down the road. Google direction didn't tell you that. In the future, just wish the hotel can has an extra thought to inform customers don't take that subway line from the airport.

Excellent location to all tourist sites

A few steps from Gran Via! Perfect spot to visit all the beautiful tourist spots. Metro stations super close by. Continental breakfast included! The rooms are comfortable and have all the basic necessities. Not fancy or posh, but great and comfortable after a long day of touring the city. My family and I had a restful time. affordable and comfortable.
