Unavailable to rent at this time. This residence is located on almost one acre at the rim of the 25,000 years old extinct Apoyo Volcano. There are incredible views over the crater lagoon to the Colonial City of Granada, Nicaragua (25 minutes away) and then over Lake Nicaragua and the eastern mountains. The small Colonial Cities of Catarina, Diria, and Diriomo are nearby (5 to 10minutes).
The residence was 100% remodeled in 2018 with cathedral ceilings, teak stairs to a Queen loft with private porch, a small bedroom with twin bunk beds, two beautiful overlook patios, granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a living room with two sliding glass door sets.
The grounds have over 1/2 mile of various walking paths through tropical gardens, coffee trees, mature indigenous trees, and organic herbs. The Congo monkeys and White Face monkeys visit every day. It is rare when the Guardabarranca birds with their two extended tails or parrots or toucans do not land within view of a patio.
The area is ten degrees cooler than Granada since it has a 1,200 foot elevation. But the Queen bedroom has air conditioning.
