It was sufficient hurricane evacuation shelter. The power on one side of the room did not work and the sink didn't drain. In another room (I had booked 3 rooms) the door wasn't easy to close and lock. It could've been cleaner, but when evacuating, I've stayed in worse. The pool was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable (I brought my own pillows and sheets) It is pet friendly, so that is appreciative. Close to restaurants is a plus--wal-mart near as well.

Bed was comfortable. Check in- made reservation two weeks early. Only room available was upstairs not close to the parking area and had no elevators. . We are in our 70’s with knee and ankle problems so making several trips up and down stairs to unload our car was not going to be easy! She wouldn’t give us our money back as it was prepaid and no cancellation. As we headed out the door , she said she had a smoking room on the first floor. We took it and moved our stuff in. The door will not lock and there is a hole in the bathroom door. We piled luggage in front of the door and tried to sleep. It was not a pleasant experience!

Never checked in. A smoking room was booked and this is unacceptable. Not likely we will book through Travelocity again.

Clean sheets but loud neighbors

So.. Was the hotel clean... Yes. Nice people at front desk, rooms clean, easy to find off interstate. HOWEVER... Must be awesome job security to be able to clean and be at work wearing a phone wireless buds and talk at the very TOP of your voice to friends about last nights . I had someone cleaning directly behind me at the breakfast bar... At 8:40... Closes at 9:00. Drunk neighbors puked outside our door. They were loud and made us nervous. THE HOTEL ITSELF WAS NOT THAT BAD. However, enough went wrong while we were here that we will never be back.
