The hotel was in need of a total overhaul. Wallpaper is peeling off of walls, our shoes stuck on the bathroom floor, the room's door didn't fit it's frame - it was open a bit at the top, the furniture in the room was very old and very used. The entrance is shrouded in bushes and the grounds neither feel welcoming nor safe. If my husband and I would have had children with us, I wouldn't have gone past the parking lot. We got to our room and pretty immediately decided we wouldn't be staying. Weren't there for more than 10 minutes. Sorry to forfeit the payment, but it wasn't worth it to us to stay in a place that felt neither clean nor safe.

The pool looked nice, though I saw no chairs. The main part of the room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom looked like they'd put a clean patch over a scuzzy tub floor. The bathroom and shampoo/conditioner amenities were pretty low end. There were a LOT of dead bugs in the stairwells, most looked like small roaches. Check in was a lengthy process although I had registered and paid online. There was an additional pet fee of $20 for the dog I didn't mind but wasn't mentioned online. I'd stay again for the convenience to the highway but I think it should cost $100 pet fee for a night here.

The landscape was unkept. Lobby floor unclear. Not glasses in bathroom. Check in employee acted like she disliked her job. No one at counter at checkout had to wait. Not what we expected.

has gone down hill

Pros: near 81
Cons: clean or replace filthy furniture
Location: near 81 and close to decent restaraunts
blood or feces stains on desk chair!!! dogs on multiple floors

Cons: all of it.
Airconditioning was noisy and an old register unit. Stain on the lamp shade, sheer curtain had stains and yellow and part of it was off the track falling down. Hotel needs big upgrade as we had stayed at a country inn and suite a week ago and was very nice. Their breakfast needs some improvement also

Good deal for the money

Pros: Good deal
Cons: Rooms are not really soundproof, so hope for a quiet neighbor.
Location: lots of decent places to eat within easy drive
Hard to beat at this price point. People were friendly, rooms are decent and even includes breakfast.
