    Not happy

4 rooms later we finally just gave in and said its fine. Stood at front desk for 5 min while you hear employees yelling at each other. Room 1- door opened, beds a mess, someone already staying there Room 2- TV broken, heating unit did not work Room 3- smelled like smoke Room 4- TV broken but ended up staying there as it was well after 11pm and going to bed anyway Rooms not 100% clean. There was paint spray all along the edge of the carpeting.

We have stayed at this hotel before when visiting Martinsburg. It is convenient as it is easy to get from the hotel to historic Martinsburg and to the Aikens Center. It is convenient to have a Sheetz across the road. Our room was clean and comfortable (although it smelled as if someone had been smoking in the bathroom). The staff was friendly. As stated in another review, they did call to find out if we were checking out or staying another night right at 11:00 (check out time). There did not seem to be any extra minutes for us to get our things ready to go. I also agree that it is not well lit outside. Be aware that the pool is seasonal and not open this time of year. While I don’t really have complaints, in the future we will probably stay in Winchester and drive to Martinsburg instead. We have stayed at hotels with similar rooms for cheaper prices.

Just a place to sleep. Nothing special. Heating unit was noisy.

The bathroom was revolting. The staff was surly. And the signage was non-existent.
