As I entered the lobby, I was not greeted. Once I was being assisted the front desk clerk picked up the phone and spoke very rudely to a client. (Knowing I was standing right there) At one point she told him, “if you’re man enough you’ll come down here and talk to me.” My perception was that he wanted the 800 to file a complaint as well. We chose this hotel due to having access to a pool since we have two children with ADHD we felt a pool was an area they could use up the energy from being in a vehicle for over 4 hours. We were saddened to see that the pool was closed. This was upsetting because there was no indication prior to the reservation that the pool was not available. I understand due COVID things may have changed but we’ve stayed at two different hotels in the last year and both pools were open. I will not be returning to this hotel again and works like to file a formal complaint with Comfort Inn.

Anonymous, You were not aware that the person on the line which you assumed was a guest the FD agent was speaking to had been harassing her for a few hours saying he was a guest at the hotel (he wasn't)...we ended up calling Pharr PD to help with the situation. You were quick to judge the situation not knowing the situation in its entirety. All our online reservation portals do state....AMENITIES MAY HAVE CHANGED CONTACT HOTEL. Thanks for your feedback and low score. Have a blessed day.

It was fine for a quick one night stay. The lobby and breakfast area were fine. The room was not the best. The sofa cushions were dirty, there were no extra linens for the sofa bed. Didn’t bother calling the lobby since we got in late and just needed a place to sleep.

No hangers for clothing in room. Staff did not mention re vending machines on floor. Deary atmosphere. Also, curtains do not close to block out light.

Dear RS, All rooms have the blackout curtains (Choice Hotel requirement also requires to be tucked in the back not to be displayed). Sorry for the inconvenience. Also if the room that you booked was a handicap there is not closet but a rack that is placed in the room for you. I hope that you return and the service is better than your recent stay. Cons: Hotel staff need to be on the same page with policies and standards for the hotel.
The front desk staff member on Saturday afternoon informed that the pool and hot tuib closes at 10pm, but as long as we were quiet we could use the hot tub after hours. When we went to use the hot tub that night around 11pm. Staff member Longoria said the pool and hot tub was closed and we could not use the facility, which was disappointing.
