Beautiful rustic studio cottage in 10 acre private redwood forest with full kitchen and bath, propane fireplace, King bed, pullout Twin loveseat (cozy for 2 kids/1 adult), Dish satellite tv, and high-speed Starlink satellite WiFi. Adjacent treehouse terrace with 2 Adirondack chairs invites you to bring your own tent/hammock, or sleep under the trees in the provided fold-out camping cot. Take in the views up in the trees overlooking a seasonal creek, and Paul Bunyan ladder steps from the doorstep leading up a 150 year old redwood tree right off the front porch. Plenty of free onsite paved parking. Property is secluded and beautiful, nestled amongst a private redwood grove 15 minutes from the airport, beaches, national parks, and town. Instacart delivers! Limited, seasonal bookings only. Property rents separately from adjacent larger home inside of same gated compound. While renting this unit, the house would either be unoccupied, or housing an owners stay (a few times a year). Peace, quiet, the woods & you!

Beautiful quiet location
Great place to stay to be immersed in the redwoods and enjoy some peace and quiet away from crowds. The treehouse deck was my favorite place to enjoy happy hour and bask in the sun. My kids enjoyed the PlayStation. The cottage was cute, clean and just big enough for all of us.

Great stay
We loved the location! We would definitely come back and stay again. It was quiet, very clean and smelled good. The sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. 4 wheel is not needed for the road, but I would recommend a vehicle with ground clearance. The directions to get to the location are very clear and easy to follow.

Peace and quiet
This property is perfect for anyone wanting to be surrounded by beautiful redwoods. The owners do an excellent job of providing you detailed directions as well as a list of things to do and places to checkout in the area. I highly recommend checking out the town of Trinidad a 10-15 minute drive. The little trail they have it on property is great for taking in all the beauty. The elevated treehouse deck is perfect for enjoying a meal or a drink. Recommend anyone who loves nature gives this place a try.

Secluded and Clean but...
This stay may not be for everyone. The curtain separating the toilet to the rest of the one-room cabin offered less privacy than we'd like. Also, the road to get to the cabin is extremely steep and unpaved - doable in a car but inexperienced off-road drivers may find it stressful. The cabin was VERY quiet and clean and well-stocked. Our teenager appreciated the WiFi and PlayStation. The deck/treehouse was definitely the best part for everyone. Check-in and out was easy and we really appreciated the thorough directions and recommendations. Overall, very happy with our stay and would return.

Wonderful accommodations. Sweet little retreat. Well cared for. The service did not justify the large television. Although we never saw anyone, located in their driveway was less than expected. Go and enjoy. download and/or copy directions prior as service may be sketchy when you are on the mountain.

Enchanting Cabin in the Redwoods
Lovely property with everything you need and a magical deck to enjoy the late afternoon. The dirt road takes you up and up to the very private cabin, but you are still close to all the nearby attractions. We visited the Tall Trees, Agate Beach, Arcata and Trinidad from here. The king size bed was very comfortable. Didn't use the kitchen area much, because we ate out all our meals. But we did enjoy our Netflix shows in the evening. :) Fast and strong internet, which my son appreciated. I would definitley stay here again. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Deep in the Tall Trees.
Great place with what you need. One room with a curtain blocking toilet and shower was not as bad as we thought. Has microwave, oven and fridge freezer. Everything we needed. Even for a family of 4. The tree house deck was great. Nice views and redwoods all around. Enjoyed the time there. Dirt Road up is just part of the adventure! Thanks for having us.

Magical Mountain Getaway
If you’re looking for a serene escape in the majestic redwoods, this is your place! The cabin is super secluded yet only about 15 minutes from town. Stephanie and Michael were great hosts! The cabin had everything that we needed for our extended stay. The treehouse is the perfect location for a morning cup of coffee or a romantic glass of wine. The redwoods surrounding the cabin are amazing! The air is so fresh and clean and there’s nothing better than laying in bed listening to the rain fall through the trees. The cabin has Dish network and a smart TV along with Starlink for internet. My husband was able to work remotely during our stay. We look forward to returning next year!
