The property was nice I love that they renovated the building, this is why I chose to stay here. I would rather put money into saving history than staying at a chain hotel. I think they should clean the carpets and the hallways smell really bad. The walls are think but I accepted that because the building is old. I was EXTREAMLY disappointed that my TV did not work, my light fixtures were broken and the phone made noises all night.

The staff was friendly and always available. They welcome you back after each outing and had plenty of room to sit in the lobby and a full service bar. Very clean and quiet , the rooms are spacious and scenic.

In the heart of downtown Memphis, we were able to walk to several interesting venues. Great hotel! Super clean, beautiful property, comfortable room, and the friendliest staff I have ever met at any hotel. Valet service was friendly and prompt, and everyone at the front desk was delightful! Keeping it on my travel list for Memphis.

Could be better

Pros: It was close to where I was conducting my business.
Cons: Get a real valet
Location: Streets were very empty at night.
When I checked in the valet was of no help. Basically he sat there and watched me struggle with my luggage and then seemed disappointed that I wanted to utilize the valet parking. He was so lazy he didn't work up a ticket so I got free valet parking. Although I was concerned that they could not find my car. When I arrived at 7:30 PM the cafe/bar was closed already. Breakfast in the AM cost $18 and really only had four choices.

Unsure when you checked in, we will have to look into the bar closing, it should be open except on Sundays. We will get this taken care of. We hope you will return and stay with us again.

Memphis, Hotel Napoleon

An amazing hotel in a perfect location with a wonderful staff. This hotel is in the middle of everything you would want to do in downtown. The trolley line runs a block away taking you to most of the attractions, but really you can just walk. The hotel itself is wonderful and clean. The staff was very friendly, and I mean every single person not just the front desk. Every person in the hallways and elevator asked about our stay and thanked us for staying we them. The staff knows the area and made excellent recommendations for outings and restaurants. One of our favorite vacations to date.
