The room was okay. Refrigerator was not very clean. Phone did not work, reported it and they said they would check it the next day. Chair very dirty, looked like blood, hope it was ketchup. Office chair only sufficient for a midget, needed a crane to get out of it Plug in bathroom kept overloading while using hair dryer. Beds we're fine, heat was good. The lady who checked us in was delightful.

Okay place to stay. Fairly clean. Nice staff. A little worn out but it feels like they are trying to keep the property going and trending up. Just to set expectations, cover picture you see is only a side shoot of a building - this is truly a hotel (Maybe originally like a Quality Inn?) -- which is fine and made for an okay place for a quick overnight. Breakfast was, lol, almost what another reviewer said, "if you are okay with toaster waffles" -- which, lol, was okay with me. I love those. But they did have some fruit, yogurt and pastries. So, all and all, thank you Plantation Oaks - this made for a good place for our late arrival, a quick sleep and recharge with coffee and a GREAT day at Meeman - Shelby State Park (that is a beautiful place)!

Room was clean but no elevator to 2nd floor. If you like toaster waffles and warmed over pastries this is the breakfast for you.
