We 1st checked into room 429. The room smelled BADLY of mold/ mildew. They moved us to room 202. I stepped on the transition between the bedroom + bath and got a nail in my foot. Matress was worn out and sagged so badly my wfe and i got up and left hotel. We have always loved Homewood Suites, but this property is older and needs SIGNIFICANT work to come up to Homewood standards.

Needs updated. Carpet is terrible. The faucet is falling off I’m shower. Floor in kitchen has planks that are not even attached.

The lady at the desk was rude then i paid my money for my room but some how i end up having to wait get my key she didnt tell me what was going on or nothing she was laughing and talking with her coworker then they got my room wrong and basically did not want to fix it i just can't recommend this place.

Once we came in off the road we where all exhausted and just wanted to lay down and the lady at the desk she got us checked in but when it was time to give us our key to the room it took while she never said why i ask her she was so busy talking to her coworker and then gonna ask me step aside so she can take care next customer remind u i still don't have my key so i ask her what is going on im very tired and i wanna lay down she says im waiting on computer so i can give you the key she took care of three other customers before i got key to room... Once we make it to room i notice this is not what i wanted i ask for two double bed i got one bed which was very small sofa bed was bigger than regular bed i called downstairs tell her about the room she was very rude and

Disappointing Stay

Pros: Kitchen
Cons: Maintenance in the rooms and pool. Looks like it is getting run down a bit.
Pool was only available 2 days on a 5 night stay. Only one night was due to weather. Housekeeping was inconstant on getting the dishes washed or detergent. Missed a breakfast due only being told the weekend schedule and did not realize it would be changing on Monday. Would have thought to be told when I had asked and they new I was staying several nights. Reported ice maker was not working in the room and was told no ice was available on the property. Was told they were getting ice for breakfast from a room as the ice machine would not be fixed until Monday, when I asked for a solution. However, maintenance did show later in the day and got the room ice maker working.
