This place is only good for the person who "JUST ONLY" need a place to sleep other than that there's nothmuch good about it the room is very small the balcony room are facing an old abandoned building and some rooms have a terrace shared by others and will give it to you if you book a balcony and all the other balcony rooms are taken also its not on the beach AT ALL you must walk through another hotelz property to see the beach there are no places to eat or get drinks nearby Nd it isn't really close to the action you'd expect in Miami it took my lyft over 20 minutes to reach south beach bottom line dont stay here if you're looking for more than a place to sleep

The best parts about the hotel were the location and the staff. Everyone was friendly and as helpful as they could be. It seems like it may have been a nicer hotel before and something has been lost (maybe due to the pandemic). The "amenities" were an additional $25 "resort fee" for stuff we didn't use or were not available. The pool closed two hours before the sign said they did so we couldn't watch the sunset from there. The oversized lawn games would have been cool if they weren't broken. The two chairs on the beach were nice the one day we could use them but they also closed up at 5pm. There was a nice quick breakfast "buffet" that we had one day. Every time we tried to go to the bar, no one was working. We also got into our room later than check in time. It seemed like they did not have enough employees and did not do any servicing of rooms during our stay. But, you could always ask for something (more towels, etc) and get it. The rooms are small and have no closet but we had a balcony and ocean view which was nice.

The staff is incredibly rude. Regardless of covid19 there is a standard Marriott should have when treating guest. Valet was extremely rude and yelled at me while trying to check in. Getting refunded after not being allowed to check in at 1 am has been a nightmare. I will never use Marriott again and it makes me so sad that they bought SPG— which was hey have started to ruin that brand as well.

Nice stylish hotel

Pros: The best part was the rooftop pool view. The hotel desk clerk Jovani was the bomb, a really nice guy.
Cons: There was no place to put your clothes,The breakfast was $20 for continental, with pepperoni and salami, Parking was outrageous.
Location: When I booked I thought the hotel was on the beach,but it was a short walk across the street. There was a grocery and liquor store and Subway nearby.

Don't waste your time staying at AC Hotel.

Pros: NOTHING AT ALL.
Cons: Customer service. Too many hidden fees. Directly across from beach but hotel doesn't provide beach chairs or umbrellas.
Location: Nothing really. Most attractions are either further down the street closer to SoBe or need to travel further up Collins for nice restaurants/dinner.
This hotel is NOT 4 stars as rated online. It's more like 2.5 at best. Don't waste your time or money. Stay anywhere else. Worst Marriott experience ever. Very shocked to hear this is a Marriott property. Will never stay here again. Room wasn't cleaned prior to check in. Too many hidden fees once you're staying at hotel. Hotel doesn't provide beach chairs or umbrellas and they're located across from beach. We travel to Miami about 4-5 times a year and have NEVER had a hotel not provide such basics as that. It's typically complimentary at beach and included with your stay for up to 2 guests. Don't bother wasting time staying here. If you like that area the Edition directly across the street is FAR NICER. We went there and had the best time. Totally made up for the crappy service and bad customer service at AC Hotel.
