Booked an ocean view but it is deceiving. We over looked the pool and in the background was the oceanview flanked by more rooms, so it was limited view. No daily room service. Asked for more complimentary water bottles and was asked if we still had the bottles and to use the refill station. Rooms are dated and have a lot to be desired. Concierge provided an excellent restaurant recommendation (prima cafe). Valet was nice and quick. They did offer a $30 credit for food and drink per night stay which was nice.

I paid top dollar for location, I suppose. I could've stayed anywhere on Collins for the same price. I chose Hilton for it's known name. I assumed that at least it'll be clean. I was wrong.

When I arrived to the property, the check in process was very smooth, however I did have to wait for housekeeping to check my room to ensure it had been cleaned, this was supposed to be a quick wait, but it was longer than 30 minutes. When I went back to the desk to inquire of the wait, the staff was apologetic and accommodated my daughter and I to a meal at the restaurant onsite. The food and service were excellent! We ordered food from the restaurant several times during our stay. In the room, everything was clean and orderly. The ocean view was beautiful and the breeze that flowed through the room was amazing! There are 2 pools, the one on the first floor is heated and the one on the third floor is not. We spent all of our time in the heated pool as the breeze coming off the ocean was kinda cool and the water at the pool on the third floor was freezing! The ladies at the pool were very helpful! Shout out to Wendy for helping us out with the bicycle app! The cabana guys at the beach were equally helpful! Gene, Alexander, Ryan, and Xavier were as awesome as the reviews I read before the trip! They are all very outstanding and really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need at the beach. This was my first stay at the Hilton Cabana, but I plan to make it my regular hotel when I visit Miami, the section of the beach that this hotel sits on is great for familes and feels more like a resort stay the last hotel I visited that charged resort fees. t
