Close to beach. No parking. Had to walk at least a mile to the parking area. Signs plastered on all the walls telling you how they will charge you cleaning fees for dirty towels, sheets, etc. It made you feel like you had to be your own house keeper or you would get charged for stupid things.

Hello Darcey, thank you for your review. The signs are a gentle reminder, so charges will not be assessed later for an avoidable issue. We do not have parking at the hotel. There are paid public parking lots located nearby, 3 blocks South or 3 blocks North. Further North, there is a garage, about an 11 minute walk, and charges 8 per day. Although it is not close by, the price is quite reasonable for Miami Beach. We appreciate your feedback.

Our room was quiet and clean, with a great air conditioner. Whenever we asked for the room to be serviced it was done thoroughly. The pool is small, but there are lots of lounges, chairs and umbrellas. The ocean is just across the street and the beach is just perfect. We ate in the Tavern downstairs a few times. They offered free drinks from 5-6, so we would have our dinner then. :-) They were NOT open 24 hours a day like all the signs said, and that was our biggest complaint. Since they were closed in the morning we had to walk a couple blocks for coffee. Honestly, since the weather was perfect with a great sea breeze, the walk was not a real hardship - we are just looking for hot coffee the minute we get up! Overall, I'd def stay there again. It's far enough away from the South Beach scene, and yet close enough to be there when you want to. You can catch a free trolley within a block and get anywhere on the island.

Room smelled of marijuana. No parking at hotel, closest parking was 5 blocks away. Cost 45 to 50 dollars for overnight parking.

Hello Robert. We are a smoke-free hotel. If we are aware that a guest has smoked in our rooms, they will be fined, as stated in the welcome letter that was acknowledged during check-in. We do not have parking at the hotel.We are a historic Miami Beach property that was originally built in the 1930's without future parking in mind. There is public parking located nearby or additional parking several blocks away. Thank you for your feedback.
