Scary looking. Not secure at all. Doors all kicked in along the hallway. It was scary and uncomfortable feeling.

Dear valued guests, Due to unforeseen circumstances there was a a fire the Runway in Miami International Airport that has caused us to temporary damages in our doors by the fire department , as result some of our door were broken. We had to wait more than two hours at the airport for the shuttle. Then when we got into our room, the odor was the first thing to hit me. It was gross. The crumbling walls were the next thing to hit me. The third was the size of the bathroom. When you’re on the toilet you hit your elbows on the shower. The bathroom door didn’t even shut and the toilet ran all night. There were several homeless people sleeping in the lobby. The worst part was when we were sleeping and then another family walked in our room. Yes my friends, they gave away our room WHILE WE WERE IN BED! The best thing I can say is there were no bedbugs.

Low cost but with all that was needed for an overnight stay including a satisfying breakfast. Will certainly visit again.

After a long flight I was picked up in the airport 40 minutes later and taken to the Runway hotel. We get to the hotel and the lady at the front desk said we are being transferred to the days inn because they had had a fire. She told us that the bus will be back for us to take us to the days inn. So we waited another 45 minutes because the bus had left. The bus came and the front desk lady told him to take us to the days inn after we get on the bus the driver a bit annoyed because of what happened and to our surprise told us this fire occurred 6-8 months ago and not recently ! We get to the days inn and we had to wait 1 1/2 -2 hours. So we said if we can leave the bags so we can eat something being we had left home at 5am. We walk 6-7 long blocks and ate at pollo tropical walked back. By that time our room was ready. This was a totally different atmosphere not like the gloomy old Runway hotel. The following day I go to get breakfast and it’s a charge for that which was not in my budget. I asked if they can give us a voucher so that we can eat there being that I was traveling with my son and they said NO. He said you can go back to the Runway hotel and your free continental breakfast there. I can only carry 2 cups and had to put the bagel and danish in my purse.. I walked another 3 blocks back and forth. I chose the Runway because of its shuttle service and FREE breakfast ! Why accept my reservation if you had a fire months ago and not recently.

sorry for the inconvenience but we had a fire about a month ago only it was on the news youtube and we relocated at days inn one block way from us and you can have free continental breakfast with us
