I would not stay here again. For the amount of money we paid, the service was below par and our room was eh. We were placed on the 4th floor and had a view of another hotel under construction (ugly!).

I ordered an oceanfront bungalow but was given a pool view. I can send the picture of my view. I was told it was ocean front because of the size of the room, and when I asked the hotel to explain what size has to do with view, they told me they couldn’t cut down the trees that obstruct the horizon view of the ocean. Again, I said I ordered oceanfront, not ocean view. Ocean front means you’re on the side of the building that faces the ocean, not over the pool. They said the hotel was full but could downgrade my room and give me an ocean front room, which I declined as I’m here for business and did not have time to relocate to an entire different building (bungalows are in one building, the other rooms are in another building). VERY disappointed about their false advertising and lack of helpful service.

chic and calm

Pros: Decor, though the lobby was a bit glitzy.
Cons: hard to say
Location: Right on the beach!
Room was gorgeous and soothing but the min ute I put my head to the cozy pillows I heard the air conditioning valve 'clunk' when the unit cycled off. This went on all night. In the morning the shower, with all of it's fancy valves, never got quite hot which was a bummer. When I reported the problems in the morning when asked how everything was I was kindly refunded $100. Otherwise the room was fabulously comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is amazing and has three terrific restaurants so there is no reason to go anywhere as far as I am concerned. Beautiful pools and great service! I would definitely stay there again and look at the room issues I had as an 'aberation'.

Beautiful Hotel off the Beach!

Our hotel was absolutely beautiful! When we return to Miami, we wouldn't stay anywhere else! It was the topping on my cake for my birthday! The staff from the lobby to the pool were fantastic!!! One small detail was forgotten, soap dish or ledge in the shower.

We stayed at the Edition for 4 nights on a business trip/extended weekend to have a mini-vacation. I selected the hotel based on their impeccable reviews. Unfortunately, I should have read the negative reviews, which much more coincide with our experience. Beautiful hotel-TERRIBLE SERVICE. I can't stress enough that the ONLY thing top of the line here, are the PRICES. Let me say that I have no problem paying top dollar...for a top dollar experience. There is nothing more infuriating that paying the most for bottom of the service. Room Accommodations: Basic rooms are pretty small. Clean decor. Simple, but do the trick. Hopefully if you're going to Miami Beach, you aren't spending a ton of time in your room anyway. Service: ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE. I cannot stress this enough. Read every terrible review for this hotel. Spot on. Waiters are beyond rude. Our first experience at Market, my fiancé asked for the waiter's opinion between two dishes. He ended up deciding on another dish ultimately and the waiter smugly replied, "then why did you even ask me?!" Not the service you expect for a $120 lunch. Next night we dined at Matador Room. The worst experience I have ever had (and we eat out a lot). Our reservation was at 10:30. We received our final meal at 1:00am. Waiter was very nice, but the whole experience was far from fine dining. We ordered an $130 Ribeye (the most expensive item on the menu) at medium rare. Waited and waited for over an hour and nothing came through.
