They sent me across the street to their Ambassador Hotel and then charged me 3 times the original amount. I thought I had it taken care of and received the corrected receipt, but then it shows up again later with the higher amount on my credit card. Beware "free upgrades.."

The shuttle to Miller Park is a great perk. People need to be patient and thankful rather than intoxicated and demanding. While there was a wait, it’s well worth it. The breakfast bar was slim but we were late getting there so I can’t complain about that either. Overall they are more than accommodating and seem to cater to sports fans.

Upon arrival to check in I was told there had been technical difficulties on the day I booked my room and they didn’t actually have rooms available, therefore, we were being moved to The Raddison, 7 miles away. The problem with that was we had booked with 4 other couples as we were going to a concert together. The staff claims they notified Travelocity right away, but nobody ever notified me! This ended up costing us over $80 in Uber fares going back and forth to meet our friends who all got to stay at The Ambassador

Not the worst, not the best

Stayed here after attending a concert. Just needed a place to crash. The hotel was in reasonable condition, and the sheets appeared clean, but there was mold in the bathroom and a wrapper on the carpeting when we came in, so cleaning is likely not done very well. Passable, but not well. The staff was cordial and easy to deal with. The continental breakfast was subpar. It was basically all heavily processed foods without even some waffle batter to make quick waffles or something. There was fresh fruit though. All in all, would not stay again unless it was a really great deal.

BED BUGS!!!!!

Cons: Fumigate all the rooms, burn the mattresses and bedding, or just condemn the building all together.
Location: There's a Walgreens up the road, which is convenient if you have to pick up some disinfectant or bleach.
Upon arriving we just thought it was a typical cheap hotel, which we sort of knew going in. Once we got there we were totally turned off by how dirty the room was. In the bathroom there was toothpaste spatter all over the walls from previous guests, so clearly they didn't wipe anything down. The carpets weren't vacuumed and the bedding was less than ideal, the pillows looked like they'd been around since 1976. The "free breakfast" consisted of a tiny room that was filthy, tables were dirty, counters were full of crumbs, no coffee, some stale muffins and one sad, lonely rotten orange sitting in a basket. Clearly the employees took no pride in keeping the area clean for guests. The final gross out moment was when we went back to the room after "breakfast" to find MULTIPLE bugs crawling on the beds. We took a close look and googled pics of them, and yep, BED BUGS! They were HUGE, so apparently they'd been taking camp there for quite some time, and the infestation must have been major. We could not get out of there fast enough and were completely disgusted that we slept in that room without realizing there were extra guests in the beds. This was by far the most disgusting hotel I'd ever stayed at. Just having to type out this review is making my skin crawl again. If you have a hazmat suit, this might be an alright place to stay.

Big mistake

Chose this hotel based on the location to Miller Park. Hotel staff was 1 person checking people in, took way too long. The elevator smelled of urine and the hall of vomit. This hotel is definitely for very young party kids, certainly not families with children. We immediately checked out. Spend the extra money this place was disgusting.

Never again

Pros: how close it is to Miller Park
Cons: The building should be torn down, it can not be improved.
I chose this hotel because of how close it was to Miller Park. We stayed here on a Friday night and I had a half-marathon to run on Saturday morning. When we first arrived their tiny parking lot was full. We had to park behind the other ambassador hotel across the street. Before entering the front doors my family was harassed by a group of young adults who were loitering in front of the entrance, one of the guys shirtless. They yelled obscenities at me and made my wife extremely uncomfortable. A man that worked at the hotel opened the door for me as I entered and he stepped outside. I thought he was going to get rid of the group but instead stood out there just to smoke a cigarette and said nothing to the group. At night, while trying to sleep we could hear people talking in all the rooms around us (the walls are paper thin), and we could hear people shouting outside until at least 3 am. The area this hotel is in is scummy and being so close to "The Rave" does not help with the noise. I will never ever stay at this hotel again.
