Close to everything in downtown Minneapolis
Pros:Location perfect for usbank stadium

Good location, nice hotel, not so great service
Pros:close to major attractions and mass transit
Cons:No free Internet, Noisy, walls are very thin as are the bath towels
Very nice hotel with convenient location to inexpensive mass transit servicing the airport, Mall of America, Metrodome and University of Minnesota/TCF Bank Stadium. However, when we checked in Friday night, not only was there a private convention group of about 1200 people, but also a large group of students staying overnight, who they booked on the same floor as me and my husband. Hence, the service in the bar and restaurant was absolutely horrible, and the noise in the middle of the night was like staying in a college dorm. We were offered no apology or compensation for this inconvenience, and although it was better the second night, it left a very bad taste in our mouths. There are many hotels in the area, and I would probably stay elsewhere next time. In addition, they charge extra for internet service, which was annoying, since I couldn't even check my e-mail on my phone without going outside or to the business center.

Absolutely beautiful.

We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and historic this hotel is. We stayed here for our anniversary and will definitely stay again. We told our friends about it and one couple has already stayed here...they loved it as well. It is close to so many nice restaurants and entertainment places. The staff was very professional and our room was clean. It turned out to be the perfect hotel for us! We will definitely be back.
