Absolutely horrible experience. On the way to the lobby I Have seen man peeing right outside the front entrance to the hotel. Also hotel WILL CHARGE YOU SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR THE DAMAGES ALMOST AS MUCH AS YOUR STAY FEE. TRAVELOCITY WILL NOT DISCLOSE THAT TO YOU.

Great place, unless you arrive by auto

Pros: Decor, nice sized room, friendly staff, truly amazing workout facility (full court basketball; are you kidding me?), Spa, "Rare" restaurant is good.
Cons: Access by Auto, although they really have no good options to cure this issue.
Location: Gets a little sleepy after the business people leave. Would be an acceptable (a little long) walking distance to new football stadium in good weather.
We liked everything about our stay, except the fact that you can either park in a nearby ramp ($6 in by 4 P.M., out by 4 A.M.) or attempt to get near the valet station, which is very poorly marked. It's down the block and around the corner from the hotel door, with a tiny little sign. The station is shared with other businesses, who all have a small black sign on the side of the little brick hut. We arrived at about 4:30 P.M. on a Thursday and it was impossible to get where we needed to be. In front of the hotel, where I think you could also unload, it's a Buses Only lane - except for hotel guests. Sure. Try to get in that lineup of buses. The buses are just stacked up, two lanes deep, bumper to bumper, for blocks. And, if you miss the mark, you've just cost yourself a lot of driving around in rush hour since most of the street are One-Way. Overnight valet is steep for Minneapolis -- 20% as much as our room charge. The whole issue is so severe that the hotel really should make an effort to advise guests in advance about how to tackle this. It would also have brightened the desk clerk's day to avoid my frustrated commentary when my wife and daughter and I finally got there.
