My room was not ready but thankfully there was another one. The price was very high. The restaurant was closed as was the lobby cocktail lounge.

This is a fine and convenient place to stay in downtown Missoula. It is .3 of a mile from our favorite restaurant but is quiet. My only complaint is that the beds are extremely high. As a short person with mobility issues, that was difficult.

Close to downtown

Pros: The holiday inn is downtown.
Cons: The place seemed to be under staffed.
Location: We went to the Trombone Shorty show at the nearby wilma theater.
We arived around 5:00 pm to find our room wasn't ready so we went to the lounge to watch the griz game. The staff was nice and efficient.We went back to the desk and were told our king size bed room had been upgraded to a room with a view. The time is about 7:00 pm so the view ment little,to our surprise we had two queen sized beds.What a dissapointment we plan to never stay there again.We were given breakfast coupons for breakfast that was already included with our stay. We had the feeling we were seccond rate guests because we used travelocity.

Full-Service Hotel, Last visit was in 1991!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, well-designed rooms
Cons: no free breakfast
This hotel is full-service, and maintained fairly well. Little things were a minor concern: No info in the room about pool hours, location or other amenities, a light out in bathroom, bottom sheets became tangled when turning over. Overall, though, it was well worth the price paid. We just flopped here after going to the Missoula Symphony. I missed the convenience of free breakfast. However, it was a good second visit. My first was in about 1991!
