Despite the local disaster, the hotel staff remained polite and professional. Great hotel and would recommend to other travelers.

Based on info from my client I wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised. My room was spacious and clean. It was quite comfortable. Even breakfast was better than I expected. The front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel does not have any type of sit down food service for lunch or dinner, but does offer an assortment of "grocery" items that you can prepare in your room (room includes microwave, fridge, sink, dishes, etc.) There are a variety of restaurants nearby. The hotel location was very convenient. It is right off the highway so it is easy to get to Monroe or West Monroe. It was only about 20 minutes from the airport. If you're staying very long, you'll need a car. I did ok just using Uber to get around.

I am very disappointed in my first and LAST stay at the Home2 franchise but more importantly the West Monroe, LA location.I arrived and was greeted by Keldrick, who which is the ONLY thing I have of satisfaction of my Stay. When I checked in, after being greeted by Keldrick with excellent customer service. I walked into a room that had a HORRIBLE odor but was in route to the local Walmart so I picked up Lysol wipes and Air freshener. While out, I received video footage of the bed MY DAUGHTER had been laying on that had been USED! The entire room had NOT been cleaned. The room was only adjusted to make it seem as if it had been cleaned. The carpet was NOT vacuumed and seeing we were not presented clean lining. I wouldn’t put it past the bathroom being anything less than a Staph infection waiting to happen. Keldrick was contacted of the disgusting findings and he provided as well as made the bed himself to TRY to make the experience a little better. Keldrick also provided fresh towels to the room and refunded ONE of the TWO nights my family slept in a room we had to wipe down to feel half way comfortable to sleep in. We were unable to use the pool and my 3 year old daughter being afraid of a Dobermann the hotel clearly allowed to stay there. Hence the horrible smell there. I appreciate Keldrick and is the ONLY one I will give a 5 star rating to. The BBB should be contacted because the rest is UNACCEPTABLE and I will no longer stay or refer anyone here.
