The hotel grounds are beautiful. The kitchen, dining room, beach and pool staff are fantastic. Housekeeping was mediocre. The “upper level staff” such as front desk and managers were not helpful. The “Family Room” is 2 regular rooms side by side. The pass through doors shared by the connecting rooms is in a narrow hall by the front door and front closet so to access the rooms is not comfortable as you have to wedge yourself in a corner before the connecting door can be opened and having to traverse with an infant in your arms was not ideal. The cleaning staff left behind their cleaning products in the room and calls to the front desk to have them collect it were unanswered. Eventually we hunted down someone in the hallway and returned them. The bathrooms were left without wash rags. The blankets were not neatly folded on the beds after cleaning instead left in a half-rolled heap at the foot of the bed. Water started gushing out of the roof of the elevators on us one morning. It was our first vacation with our newborn and was not as we expected. Won’t be returning to this property.

what was unique about this property was customer service it was office. we had an emergency and had to call toll free number to change the flight. didn't know toll free was not free in jamaica. left on hold 3 hours with delta. final bill from moon palace was 1300.00 for toll free phone call. when explaining to house staff no one cared. we paid it but will never stay there again.

The property was a comfortable size with 3 pools and 4 restaurants. You didnt need reservations for the restaurants, except for hibachi. The rooms were nice, but the floor tiles were slippery when wet. The bathroom door was louvered, which was not very practical when sharing a room with others. Room service was fast and food was hot. Showers were nice with decent water pressure. The staff was very accommodating. Check in took 3 hours due to a misspelled name, and the check in staff was of no help with this issue.
