Water shutoffs, tiny room, attendants smoking pot on duty, shark attacks on beach, very very old building, poorly maintained. False advertising.

The room did not look anything like the pictures shown. The bathroom was really small. The bedroom is outdated. Can’t complain too much because the room was not too expensive. The location is great because it is right by the ocean! Overall I would recommend.

The view is amazing and the staff is always super nice and accommodating. Luis and Charles are the best. Recommend and will come back.

The location of the hotel is really great. It’s walking distance from the beach and its walkable to the aquarium from there as well. The room was clean enough, but not spotless. The decor is 50/50 super dated and some updated. Nice decent sized flat screen tv, but the broadcast was in SD. Not a deal breaker cause you’re at the ocean so who needs TV anyways…….but if you’re gonna have it why not have HD? We enjoy watching TV when we wind down for the evening so having quality reception would be nice. There are 2 spots for electric vehicles which isn’t apparent from their website and was a nice surprise since we have an EV. However, neither one of the spots has signage reserving the spots for EVs. So although there was a charger on-site, gas cars were parked in those spots for the entirety of our trip so we couldn’t use them at all. Which brings me to the next part…..parking. You can’t really fault the hotel for this now because it was clearly a design flaw when constructing the property. There are limited above ground parking spots and the remaining spots are located in an underground garage. Getting in and out of the parking lot isn’t the easiest depending on the time of day. The hotel is located in a pretty popular area so there is a lot of foot traffic along with cars parallel parking and driving around the ocean. Since the parking lot is so small loading and unloading larger vehicles is a task to say the least.
