Didn't spend much time there staff seemed nice, room was ok. Just a place to sleep.

I was placed in the back building. No TV remote that would work. No internet would work, dead bugs all around the window and the phone was not connected. They did offer to move me to another room but was already unpacked so just lived with it. Check the workings before you accept a room.

Thanks Again for your review. We did a lot more than offer you to change rooms. Since you did not want to move- we offered to come take a look at the TV, we offered to come look at the bugs, we offered a discount, we offered, anything we could possibly do. You refused to let us in the room, you refused to change rooms. Are hands are tied if we are not allowed to try and accommodate the issues. We were having issues with the internet in the back building and that is fixed. I am sorry that changing of the room, offering to look at TV,offering a discount or any other option did not work with you

Helpful staff but they are overworked. Outside landscaping and trash needs attention. Trash cans not emptied. Trash and poor vlean up by rear building

I am sorry your stay was not good for you. If you can give me more information on your stay, I hope to be able to fix what was wrong. But with out more detail such as why was check in a nightmare, rude front desk? It would help me fix these problems

I stayed 2 nights at a great price and was satisfied with the room, its amenities, and the included breakfast (full continental plus scrambled eggs, waffles). The hotel is on the end of town closest to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park which was my main destination. The hotel staff provided great recommendations for places to eat in Montrose. The breakfast room had 2 racks of brochures for nearby attractions which I used to pick additional places to visit, fully rounding out my all-too-brief Montrose visit.

The rooms were clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable. We were in town for a funeral so we didn't need any amenities to speak of. The breakfast was just okay. The bathroom is small but it was clean. The sink was a pedestal sink with no counter space to put anything on. There was a microwave and refrigerator. Overall a great room for the price. Would stay there again for just an overnight stay.

Needs to Improve

Pros: price
Cons: hotel facilities
Our room was on the first floor, next to the laundry room and it was loud. The toilet is the loudest and longest flushing toilet. No closet, so there was an ironing board randomly laying against a wall. The room was clean. We were told that the hot tub was being worked on but the pool was available. It was in a different building and the pool was not working, no water running and a film on the top of the pool. They are working on making improvements, the bathroom by the pool area was clean, but no door on the bathroom. They look to be making improvements, but need to get something fixed and running better in my opinion. I've stayed at other Baymont hotels and they were great, this one could be, but needs to get things fixed.
