This was the worst motel I’ve stayed in ! Given the wrong room when I checked in late; no apologies given. Everything looked dirty and like it was dated from 1970. Never again, I say!!!

Very dirty, nasty place. And to top this off was informed at check in that I had to pay a 250.00 deposit fee in case we trash the room. And yet the trash in the room wasn't even emptied. Will never return.

This is literally the worst place to stay in Newport. it may be the cheapest and that's for good reason. Lets see, phone in room with no cord, listed as non-smoking but smelled as if someone's old grandmother had smoked in there for 40 years prior, the furniture was in disrepair, there was a cigarette hole in the bed spread, there was mold in the ac/heating unit, the door didn't seal and allowed all of the outside noise in as well as the cold air, and at check in the girl wanted a $250 cash deposit incase I smoked in the room or damaged it.... REALLY that's just insane! People were coming an going at all hours of the night and by people I mean DRUNKS and people that looked as if they were high on drugs. I've stayed in Newport many times but I was trying to save a few $$ this time, never again! I'll pay the extra for the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express right next door! Don't waste your time staying at this place you will NOT be pleased!

The room smelled and had what looked like used dip rhat someone had taken out of their mouth and threw in the floor. There was something that had been taped and painted over but was oozing out. And the indoor pool was ice cold.
