Property was ok. Old but clean. Room was hot. AC unit was noisy & bright lights outside made it hard to sleep. Continental breakfasts was ok, but no protine. No eggs, no meats... cereal, bread, bagels, waffels, apples. Not exactly breakfast, unless your a carb junkie.

We were disappointed with the restaurant option - Also when we asked for maid service all they did was make the bed - I wanted a coffee refill for the next day and clean towels - The room was super small and stuffy.

We offer Steve's Big Mountain BBQ. Our staff follows guidelines of Servicing rooms that includes Towels, Coffee, Trash, All our rooms have front and rear full functional windows.

We had a great time at the Shasta Inn. The room had a winter cabin feel and was very clean. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to Mt. Shasta Ski Park. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay on our long drive from the Bay

Pros: Nice/ clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Short distance from the I5.
Location: Nice breakfast restaurant next door. There is also a coffee/ pastry shop close with the best carrot cake you will ever have.
We had a late night check in and they made sure we had our key waiting for us when we arrived. Nice stopping point from the Bay Area to Portland, OR. The place is super cute, really nice owners, dog-friendly. They even had a puppy package for us with treats and play toys for the dog. I chatted with the owner for a long time and they have been restoring the place. It looks like it would be fun in the winter as well. Our room was so comfortable and cozy. There is a restaurant/ bar and live music on Friday and Saturday nights that looks really nice. Hopefully next time we are coming through on a weekend and can check it out. Ignore the old and bad reviews because they are before these owners took over and are fixing it up real nice and cozy. Cute woodsy feel.
