Tired from a long flight, we booked a hotel close to the airport, but did not realize that the distance from the railroad station to the hotel is not walkable with luggage. (The expanded map on hotels.com does not show the tracks of the train) We did not check the hotel information very well and realized later there would be no-one to check us in. We used the computer in the lobby and went to our room which to our surprise was unlocked. The room itself was impeccable clean. Once we left the room we were unable to get back in without a code. The computer never gave us a code. The only staff available were the cleaners, who spoke no English nor German. We got our problem across and they pointed to a phonenumber on the wall, which only gave us a virtual agent that upon asking the reason for our call started a long speech about something completely different. I terminated the call and finally found one person of the staff who spoke a little German. I told her that if I could not get a code to get back in I would contact the local authorities. While she went to look to somehow solve the problem. I went back to the computer in the lobby and while congratulating me on my fast check-in, it still did not provide me with a code. It did however have a barcode which finally gave me a code.
I pushed the numbers either to slow, to hard, etc. but it will lock you out for 3 minutes before you can try again. Upon leaving the room the 2nd time the whole door handle came off. No tools availabl
